Best Old Bands Minnesota Vol. 8-14 - Let's take an intermission from music reviews to recognize regular Parkway house soundman Loren Wiklander. These cage-match concerts are often a sound mix mash up, where the bands start sounding good just as they're about to stop. But tonight, each band sparkled from the start, with a minimum of annoying sound adjustments in mid-set (`Can I get less of Joe in my monitor, and more of me out front?) I'm not sure how to tip good sound people, but I tip my hat anyway.

Without a good one, the show goes on, but it often goes off the rails. Praise as well for the Parkway. Soon after opening in 2018, they upgraded the sound system and it shows at every show.
